Yet another research has pointed Bulgaria as the country with the world's strongest house price growth last year amidst a global cooling of the property market.
The study carried out by Global Property Guide (GPG) said Bulgaria saw the world's strongest house price growth at 30.6% (15.4% in real terms) to end-Q3 2007 from a year earlier.
Investments in property in Bulgaria predicted to give returns of 20% within first year.

Foreigners bought real estate worth 310 million euro in Bulgaria in the first three months of 2007. Main investers were from UK followed by Greece, USA, and Germany.
The famous Irish low cost airplane company - Ryan air will open regular cheap flights from the international airport in Plovdiv to Germany, England and Spain. This was announced yesterday by the executive director of the airport Plamen Nikolov. It is expected the flights of the first worldwide low cost airplane company to start in August.
It is not accidental the fact that Plovdiv is the chosen town. The disposal of the town and its airport goes hand in hand with the philosophy of the company, which exactly is the existence of regular bus transport to the capital and the international resorts, also to historical finds.
